I can't see summoned falling sand

When I summon a FallingSand Entity, I can't see it, but after a few seconds I can see a sand block under me, just as if its invisible. If I place a sandblock on the side of a tower, it falls just normaly, but not if I summon one. I don't know if this just happends to me.
