Command Blocks Can't Place Down Redstone

When I Use The /setblock command and the /fill command with redstone dust, using the new ID: minecraft:redstone, it says it doesn't recognize the ID, I need it to reset a thing that holds players on a hunger games map that I am creating, but I can't finish it with this bug, someone please fix this! I can place any other block, accept for redstone!
