Oak wood planks are invisible

I crafted some oak wood planks out of oak wood. This produced and invisible item. When I place the oak wood planks down they are extremely dark.

Steps to recreate:
1. Obtain Oak wood.
2. Place in crafting table or inventory crafting and result will be invisible

I will also not this does not happen with birch.
