Click-and-drag of middle-wheel duplicates ghost blocks in survival

Hey mojang.
I was playing in mi survival world when i click middlewheel holding a block and this happend

I hope you can solve this

Steps to reproduce:

• Change to survival
• Open inventory
• Left click any (stacked) block
• Middle mouse click-and-drag over empty inventory slots
  --> Empty slots will be filled with the maximum stack size, but blocks will vanish when mouse button released
