Arrows don't always disappear in farmland

In my farmland plot, I noticed some arrows stuck in the ground after harvesting. I figured it was from the night before, but I just spent 2 days underground (directly below, not chunks away) and came up to do some harvesting, and the "stuck" arrow is still there. I have no idea how long this bug has been around, or if it's just a oneoff thing.
