Fishing line is attached to right foot

All I want is to fish and walk, fish and walk. However, when I try to fish and walk, I trip and fall down because THE FISHING LINE IS ATTACHED TO MY RIGHT FOOT!

See screenshot for details. Please tell me how to attach the fishing line to the end of my rod. Gravity hurts.
