Light glitch without smooth lightning

I entered my superflat test world to try out some new stuff
First thing i noticed was that everything that has bright colours had too much contrast and it was too bright but other blocks like pistons, redstone etc were normal

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a redstone ready superflat world
2. Put down some blocks, redstone and pistons
3. Turn on smooth lightning
