Same Blocks wont stack

when I typed in /give my name 5 25 (which is oak wood planks) and it told me to use names like minecraft:planks because it would not be supported in the future, so I did and my original oak planks I got with the /give 5 25 would not stack with the oak planks that I got with the new command.
