Enderman Stay Alive, or keep Teleporting at Day on Servers

I usually see this in Deserts since There's no water and lots of space. and i built a 20x20x10 house and when i was finishing my Roof i saw a enderman teleport in and he wasn't dying and he teleported all around my house. i will get a picture next time.
