Villagers Not Getting Angry

When villagers are punched, they will not emit the angry villager particles (which I believe were them 'shooting fire' in MC-12671). They also will not lose trades when injured by players and will stay with the same trades they had until they die.

I am unsure if this is intended in the newer versions or not, but I decided to post this because I believe MC-12671 was closed for lack of detail on the particles (they don't really 'shoot fire').
