Hand vanishes after spectator

I was playing around with spectator mode and found out that your hand vanishes if you open your inventory (below)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go into spectator mode
2. open your inventory
3. go into creative/survival
1st person hand vanishes
To fix open survival inventory or go into survival tab in creative
