Dropped Items bounce when hitting the empty space of stairs.

When i drop an item to the empty space of stairs, it bounces to the direction is facing the stairs. I've confirmed that this hasnt been fixed on 1.4.5 or The new snapshots. This happens on any gamemode i play.
