Skin refuses to change after changing once

EDIT: This seems to have resolved itself. So, yeah.

Due to a misinterpretation of the spectator mode, I was lead to believe that transparent skins are a thing now.
After checking, and seeing that that was not the case, I went to go change my skin back to what it was before I checked.

When viewing the actual image uploaded to Minecraft.net (like with Minecraft Skin Viewer) it has updated successfully.
HOWEVER, when playing in-game, the skin did NOT update.

In other words, after I changed my skin once, I am no longer able to change it's IN-GAME appearance at all.

I have no idea if this is just for me, or if it's even a problem with the snapshot itself, but since it started happening when the snapshot came out.. yeah.
