Not dropping items dresses by mobs

When killing a mob like zombie dressing an leather chestplate it never drops the leather chestplate. I killed 15 zombies counted with chestplate and it don´t drop. I also checked if the command block comamand:"dotiledrops" or however it is and I don´t get results.
