Maps pop out of item frames on world load and won't go back in

When I first loaded my world in 14w04b, I look at my wall of maps in item frames. nothing was on the wall, just the wall. I look around and go outside and all of the maps and item frames are out there. I try to put them all back on the wall, but it just makes the item frame texture bigger, and won't show any part of the map.
