OS X Performance

Since 1.7 the performance is constantly decreasing on Macs and it seems the newer the Mac the worse is the performance.
While I'm getting over 300fps in Windows BootCamp I only end up with 20fps under OS X with the exact same settings. Even my late 2011 MacBook is getting about 80fps under the same circumstances.
