On a Minecraft server when you take damage in snapshot 14w04a you get kicked

I was killing a zombie and he was about to deal damage to me. Then it kicked me and when I logged back in no damage had been dealt
What I expected to happen was...:
The zombie woud deal damage

What actually happened was...:
I got kicked
