Teleporting Ender Crystals in End doesn't graphically move Ender Crystal

When running the command "/tp @e[type=EnderCrystal] ~ ~5 ~", the command runs, but the Ender Crystal doesn't move. This issue is fixed by relogging, where the Ender Crystal moves up to the proper location, showing that the command is running, but Minecraft doesn't graphically update the position of the Ender Crystal.
