Press e to open your inventory won't go away

In a certain server (mc.ecocitycraft.com), as soon as i log on, it says Press e to open your inventory. I haven't seen this message since 1.6.4 because of the change in the way achievements are handled. However, even after I opened my inventory, it still showed the message. I know it's small but it is kind of annoying.
