Mobs frozen

Mobs?
I locked the difficulty in my world to easy thinking it wouldn't change the IA of agressive mobs in over world.
The mobs don't move for the most part, and the damage dealt to them is majorly delayed.
to simulate this lock a world in easy and try to kill one, or have one kill you.
(I'm on mac)
