Underwater bug i have just noticed

Hi, i was playing creative when i placed a water bucket to make a pool. but for some strange reason everytime i duck down into the water my vision goes WHITE like the texture of chiselled quartz block. i cannot see anything except my hand item. but when i go above water it turns normal again.
