Minecraft closing when I click multiplayer

When I open my minecraft launcher, its working fine. When game opens its working fine too, but when i try to click multiplayer, its closing and bringed me back to launcher screen. I tried to delete minecraft and download but this time its closing when i add server IP. Please help me
