Unexpected Behavior Pairing Pressure Plates with Rail Junctions

Rail junctions controlled by pressure plates behave differently based on the location of the plate related to the junction in question.

It seems as though the rail reorients itself with the direction the plate is coming from. I've attached screenshots for replication purposes. The aberrant behavior exists in the bendy rail.
