Minecraft Lag issues

I reported lag on 13Dec13 and was assigned above Issue number. On 17Dec13 Issue was declared Resolved as a duplicate. I still cannot play the game due to lag developing whenever I deviate from straight-ahead character movement.

I would like to know what Issue # my MC-42188 was associated with as a duplicate, so that I can follow corrective action being taken. As I stated in the thread associated with MC-42188, I do NOT consider the issue resolved, just because others are having (and have reported) the problem. The issue will be resolved when I can again play Minecraft, and I am very interested in following the steps being taken to solve the lag problem.
