Firework Explosion Not Showing

I Downloaded 12w49a Snapshot To Check Out The Fireworks To Find That They Don't Seem To Work Properly For Me. I See The Firework As It Flies Into The Air But I Don't See An Explosion. Aswell, While I'm On The Topic, Could Ye Possibly Not Make Fireworks Redstone Used So You Can Make Fireworks Displays. But Back To The Point lol, I Tried Render Distance Far Aswell And That Didn't Help Me See Anything And I Tested The Fireworks At Night Ingame
