minecart sound is bugged when ridden by player

when you are sitting in a minecart the sound is terrible. it only happens when you are riding it. when other players or mobs are riding it, or a minecart with a chest it sounds normal.

what I expected to happen was:the sound would be normal when I was riding my minecart
what actually happened: it started making bugged noises

steps to reproduce:
1. go in a cart on a cart track
2. go for a ride

I got a video wich displays the problem. yes I know this video was made in 1.4.5 but the bug is still present in 12w49a
