First Time Trying to Play-Only crash log, will not log on

What I expected to happen was...:
First time downloading minecraft. Clicked play and thought would launch... Java was to date.

What actually happened was...:
the game did not launch and was redirected to a 'crashlog' screen

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load minecraft launcher
2. Press Play
3. DIrected to Crash log
