Server.Properties ResourcePack URL forwarding issue

When setting the resourcepack property to a URL that has subdomian forwarding with masking turned on, the download would never complete, yet when directly referencing the URL with out any type of domain forwarding the download was successful.

The URL's:
Subdomain forwaring URL = http://www2.unexistingpromise.com/mc/resourcepacks/WCRP_Nates_Pack_V1.zip

Direct URL = http://www.unexistingpromise.com:8080/mc/resourcepacks/WCRP_Nates_Pack_V1.zip

www2.unexistingpromise.com forwards to www.unexistingpromise.com:8080

The first URL is resolved to the second URL by GoDaddy's Domain Service, a browser can resolve this subdomain forwarding, but seems like minecraft can't, this is the issue.

The ResourcePack is being hosted by my IIS Server that is on port 8080
