Blocks after trying to remove then they re-appear

I expected to cut down tree blocks and auto matically appear in my inventory.

I was cutting down tree blocks and the block disappeared then reappeared to cut it down, which is wasting time and equipment materials.

I started noticing this block-break glitch in servers from 1.6 then started noticing it become more in all types of worlds and even my older brother which has a super beefy computer noticed it many times before in his server/s then saw it in his single-player worlds but they started becoming worse and worse.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Cutting/digging/mining blocks
2. Then they disappear
3. then they reappear to do Cutting/digging/mining
4. then half way of removing the block again it finally disappears into a small inventory block then you collect it.
