Improvement to server owners -- Anti Hacking and light levels!

I feel that hackers and hacks them selves are becoming a big problem with minecraft atm. and all of the hacked clients with lots of things that destroy the game for other players are making the game un fun.

I believe a hack is different to a mod if it changes the game to the point where it makes the game unfair and boring for other players and admins having to spend time moderating the servers for people that are cheating and "Hacking"

I know there are lots of plugins now that do a very good job at reducing the hackers capabilities (No Cheat Plus) but thats: 1) not pre installed on all servers and not usable on vanilla servers. and 2) does not stop client hacks (Xray, Fulbright)

I would think a way of making sure that players that join the servers will have some information about there client sent to the server owners like if they have any mods on the client. and you can also send if the META INF file has been removed and send that to the server owners as well.
There are so many ways of coding in a way of stoping or letting the server owners know that they do or could have some bad code on there client that might be a hack!

There is also another problem with minecraft that as an admin i get annoyed at. The fact that even without a mod/hack you can change your brightness/gamma to 10000 which allows you to see in the dark what ever the light level. I can understand a night vision potion but not using torches because you can see anyway is still a bit cheaty and i don't like it.

And the last thing, Again about world lighting, i can still see even if the light level is a 0 please make it so how ever bright your screen or gamma, at 0 light level you can not see anything. Obviously if the player does not have a night vision potion.
