Minecraft /testfor not working in 13w48b

You cannot use /testfor in any way in the new snapshot. Even if you try to do something simple, like /testfor @p

{r=5}

and hook up into a clock, it never actually detects you. It'll always say "That player cannot be found". Because of that, /testfor is practicly useless.
