Stained Glass cannot be crafted

I've encoutered this bug while i was playing on a multiplayer Vanilla server: When i want to craft Stained Glass on Crafting table, i put in the ingredients properly, the Stained Glass icon flashes briefly at the result panel, and then disappers. I do not own the server, so i can't do a restart :/
