When exiting a minecart or horse the exit protocal no longer considers weather or not their is a viable block to exit on before chosing a exit location. Results in rails built on uneven or elevated surfaces to be unsafe.

I like to build rails on 1 block wide bridges in the over-world but now if i try to exit a mine cart on one of these rails I fall and die. The exit protocol seems to always want to exit to the northwest and will not turn to north,south, east or west regardless of weather or not the northwest exit is at all viable (in regards to blocks to stand on blocks in the way seem to work still)
