dark wood forest and oak wood forest

on my minecraft vannilia server i live next to a dark wood forest
i rarely chop down trees and recently i notcied that dark wood trees were disapering and they were being replaced with oak wood trees.gradually the dark wood forest is slowly beinging replaced with oak wood
