Two background music tracks (Clark, Living Mice etc.) play at the same time

Description:
When playing minecraft, a second background music track starts playing over the first track, about 2 minutes later. This happens every time I play.

What should happen:
After the first music track stops there should be a gap and then the second background track start playing- they should be separate.

What actually happened:
Instead, a second background music track starts playing over the first track, about 2 minutes later. The music stops when turned off fully in the settings but if the music is turned back on it happens again. This happens every time I play- even in other worlds

Steps to Follow:
1. Open a creative world
2. Turn music on
3. Listen, after a while the music tracks start to play over each other
