Minecraft shut down while I was on a server

While I was playing on the Mineplex server and Minecraft shut down and said
Uhoh, it looks like the game has crashed! Sorry for the inconvenience
and it has done that about 10 time so if you could tell me why and how to fix it that would be wonderful. thank you.
