you can't leash up bats

It appeared to me that the wiki says that every peacefull mob can be lead. The bat is a peacefull mob, so why are we unable to lead it up? you can even lead up a squid!

I allways assumed this was possible but I wanted to move my nametagged bat to a new base.

If you think this is intended, please tell me why. Again this is not a feature request. This is a feature that doesn't work correctly
