Inventory Uncentered when buffed by Beacon

I believe this isn't a bug, it's just part of the game. I really think that it should be fixed so the inventory is in the center of your screen at all times, it's very discombobulating whenever you are in a beacon's buff range. Is there any insight to this? Or am I presenting a valid point?
