When you click your mouse on a potion when you have an effect, the effect turns white.

I was playing and i had night vision and an effect that let me see farther into the water. I then went up out of the water, opened my inventory, and grabbed a potion of speed. when I clicked my cursor on any of the potions, the effect thing to the left went white.
