Bed texture issue

I found an issue with the texture of the beds in 1.7.2 when I was creating a set for a machinima project. When I put one down in creative gamemode, the texture was completely wrong. I am not sure if this is with everyone, or is this with just my Minecraft.

When I placed a bed down, I expected it to be a normal textured bed.

However, the bed had a mixed texture once I had placed it. The bed texture seemed to be flipped around on half of it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a bed from the decorative section in the creative inventory
2. Place one down
3. It appears to be a mixed texture of the normal thing. Is this just an issue with only my Minecraft?
