Unable to use the new 1.7 shaders and enchanted things don't render properly

When I play minecraft on any gamemode, I am unable to use the new shaders and enchanted items or potions, when they are in my hot bar, have the enchanted effect on the whole box. I am still able to play minecraft normally.
