Launch a firework in front of water and the water covers the exploding sparkles

What I expected to happen was...:
The sparkles would be in front of the color of water.

What actually happened was...:
The water was "in front" of the sparkles.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.get a firework and look at water.
2. launch firework and watch where the sparkles go where the water in the background should be.
3. spam fireworks if needed
