Gui's Glitching

So when i open a chest, it flickers. The achievement thingie is in the corner for the WHOLE time, when i hover over the 'legs' icon in my inventory it only shows the icon of the achievement and no text. Last, my armor icons are black instead of the body parts, however, when i hover over a chestplate i wear, the pants icon becomes visible.
