Music gets cut off when changing important options or exiting the texture pack menu

I was exiting the texture pack menu while music was naturally playing and the music cut off mid-sequence.

I expected the music to play through the exit,

The music didn't and cut mid-sequence.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. wait for natural music to come on.
2. open texture pack menu.
3. Hit DONE.
4. Notice that the music will cut off.
