1.7.2 has broken anti-aliasing on nVidia cards... again

With the upgrade to 1.7.2 anti-aliasing lines (gaps between blocks) that used to be hidden by disabling AA altogether now reappear regardless of the AA setting. Have tried varying settings of the AA options, but none seem to make a difference.
