Pufferfish effects do not show up in inventory in creative mode.

I was in Survival mode and I ate my Pufferfish. I got all of the effects but they only showed up as boxes in my inventory. But then when I switched to Creative mode the effects did show up. If they don't show up in Survival mode then I won't know what effects I have received and the duration.

What I expected to happen was...
The Pufferfish effects to show up in Survival mode.

What actually happened was...
They only showed up in Creative mode.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Eat a Pufferfish in survival mode.
2. Notice that when your inventory is opened, the effects do not show up.
3. But when you switch to Creative mode, the effects DO show up. How am I supposed to see what effects i have when I'm playing in Survival?
Note: My Pufferfish was obtained from the Creative mode inventory, not from fishing.
