/kill <playername> command doesn't work on server window command box.

Using the /kill <playername> command on the server window does not work . It simply says: 'You must specify the player you wish to perfom this action on.

To Reproduce:
Open up a server, connect to it and type /kill <playername>

<playername> = specify name of target player.
