Menu Color gradient on buttons

In the menu (main or in game), if you put a gradient type texture on buttons, the larger buttons show correctly but smaller buttons just get a two towned affect in the middle which looks bad

(I searched but didt find anything that matched this. Don't know if people have noticed it or not)
