There is occasionally no sound when hitting blocks and mobs

When breaking blocks at a good, generally normal pace, a majority of the blocks breaking made no sound. The same thing happened when hitting mobs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start punching blocks
2. Listen; there won't be sound sometimes
