Destroying piston head with damage value of 7 [CRASH]

When using the command "/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:piston_head 7" you get an invisible piston head that has a changing hitbox. Destroying this will cause a crash. The only way to remove these from a world is with a third-party program or TNT, which also results in a crash.
